CONCA DEI MARINI

Emerald Grotto

Light within the rock.

The water turns green as light enters the cave. Between limestone columns and reflections, the Emerald Grotto offers a different kind of pause along the coast between Amalfi and Positano.

Descent from the road and a boat visit

A cave connected to the sea.

The grotto is in Conca dei Marini. Light passes through an opening below sea level and colours the water; inside are stalactites, stalagmites and rock columns. Visits take place in small boats.

You can reach the site from the coastal road or choose a boat excursion. Check separately whether transport from Amalfi and grotto admission are included in the operator’s offer.

THE LAST PART OF THE DAY

Back to Pontone.

If arriving by sea, confirm the return meeting point and time with the operator. By land, plan the connection back to Amalfi and then Pontone.
