Pontone was once Scalella: a village of noble families and wool workers, among citrus groves, palaces and paths. Our two homes are here, in the municipality of Scala.

Pontone is a village of a square, lanes and walking paths. The two homes are on Via Tuoro, at numbers 9 and 19, with separate approaches from the parking area. Amalfi’s beaches and centre are down below; the homes do not open directly onto the waterfront.

The palaces recall Pontone’s ties to Amalfi’s noble families. San Giovanni’s square preserves the memory of wool workers and the mountain water used in their craft. Two intertwined histories, still present in the village.
