VILLAS, GARDENS AND MUSIC

Ravello

Two gardens. Time to pause.

A garden above the sea, a villa’s cloister, an evening of music. Choose a few stops in Ravello and let the places set the pace.

The journey
Bus or taxi from Pontone, then walking
Keep in mind
Separate admission · paths with steps

Villa Cimbrone, towards Infinity.

Paths, sculptures and pergolas lead through the gardens to the Terrace of Infinity, where marble busts meet the horizon. The visit is to the public gardens; hotel areas have separate access arrangements.

From Piazza Duomo, walk towards Via Santa Chiara 26 through the centre and stepped sections. A taxi does not replace the final walk to the entrance. Check the day’s hours and any closures for private events.

The entrance is on Piazza Duomo. The tower, cloister and gardens tell the story of a medieval residence transformed over time; from the terrace, flowerbeds frame the seascape.

Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone have separate tickets. If visiting both, allow time for the walk between them and a pause. Visiting hours may change on performance days.

MUSIC ABOVE THE SEA

Ravello Festival

Orchestras, chamber music and listening with the sea beyond the stage: the Festival is part of Ravello’s identity. Visiting Villa Rufolo and attending a concert have separate tickets and arrangements.

THE LAST PART OF THE DAY

Back to Pontone.

If staying for a concert, book a taxi or check the last suitable bus before planning the evening. Arrange the journey from Ravello to Pontone in advance, especially late at night.
