CAI trail 327 from Bomerano to Nocelle is 5.3 km, with 184 metres of ascent and 356 of descent. The listed walking time is around two hours each way, before stops. Transfers and pauses add time; that figure is not the duration of the whole outing.
Nocelle is above Positano. Continuing to the sea is another part of the journey, with a long stairway if you choose to walk down. The trail is not a loop: if you leave a car in Bomerano, arrange how to collect it.
Prepare well, take your time.
The route has uneven ground and exposed sections, with little shade. Bring hiking footwear, water and sun protection. It is classed as a hiking route, not a level stroll, and may be unsuitable if exposed paths make you uncomfortable.

Back to Pontone.
From Nocelle, check the local bus to Positano or arrange a transfer. If ending in Positano, you then need to return to Amalfi and up to Pontone; ferries and buses depend on the day’s timetable and operations.
